Our team works under the direction of a Warranty Manager with over 30 years of multi-discipline roofing experience. His expertise received formal acknowledgement when he was selected by CertainTeed (a leading North American manufacturer of building products) to sit on their warranty advisory council, comprised of leading contractors throughout North America.
How we handle your warranty inquiry:
- When a warranty inquiry is received, we acknowledge your request first.
- Then we review your file to determine the nature of the work done at your home or business premises.
- A visit is scheduled to investigate the problem area that prompted your call.
- Any determined issues of warranty are remediated quickly.
- We follow-up to ensure you are satisfied with the result.
Terms and conditions of Avenue Road Roofing warranties
- Repairs are not warranted, but we will always review/revisit if a leak persists. (At no charge)
- Materials are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty and are subject to their specific terms and conditions.
- We will assist customers on material claims for products used in an installation completed by Avenue Road Roofing.
Residential warranties:
- Sloped Roofs: 10 years* on labour for new shingle installations
*Additional Sure Start warranty coverage is available by CertainTeed (manufacturer), because Avenue Road Roofing is a certified Select Master Installer. This allows us to provide additional Gold Coverage manufacturer warranties. - Flat Roofs: 10 years on labour
- Vinyl Siding: 5 years
- Aluminum soffit, fascia eavestrough, pre-painted steel eavestrough: 5 years
- Copper or galvanized eavestrough: 5 years
Commercial and building envelope warranties:
- Flat roof: 5 years (manufacturer spec projects have available warranties up to 20 years depending on the manufacturer.)
- Masonry: 2 years
- Velux Skylights: 10 years with new roof installation. Manufacturer warranty only on units installed on an existing roof.
- Curb Mounted Acrylic Skylights: 5 years with new roof installation. Manufacturer warranty only on units installed on an existing roof.
- Self-flashing Acrylic: 2 years with new roof installation
- Skylight Retrofits on existing roofs: Manufacturer product warranty only
