AVENUE ROAD ROOFING® approaches the important issue of work quality in a number of ways.
Quality work is achieved by using quality people that have the training, expertise and caring to do a superior job.
Specifications used in our work align with what the product manufacturers require in order for their warranties to be valid and enforceable, and which align with their prescribed best practices for installation.
ARR® is manufacturer certified by Firestone™, Certainteed™, IKO, Velux™, Englert®, and other leading manufacturers. This requires staff to attend training and obtain re-certification to be up to date with installation requirements.
Experience- there is no substitute for experience. We have been performing simple and complex roof and related building envelope projects for over 45 years, with over 55,000 completed projects under our belt.
Supervision- is conducted by our in-house inspectors who are experienced tradespersons having expertise in their specific disciplines; be it in flat roofing, shingle installation, cedar work, slating, custom metal, or aluminum work.
We align with other experts- exterior renovations can be a complex choreography of various trades. Hidden conditions such as mould, heat loss, ventilation, and insulation /air sealing issues, etc., that can arise or be anticipated; require that we will consult, or direct our clients to consult with engineers, abatement specialists, and other building envelope professionals in order to be proactive in finding solutions for clients. Today we have to think of the roof as a system with other interconnecting systems involved.
Final Inspections-are completed when the job is done as well as throughout the installation process. Our objective is a clean site when finished, and a caliber of work that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Checks and Balances- when a job is submitted by our estimators, it is checked by the Production Manager to make sure all details are clearly noted, and that instructions are clear and concise. It is also checked to insure the scope of work is technically sound, and that budgets are sufficient to achieve the correct results. At this junction the work is either passed for scheduling, or minor corrections, client sign-offs, etc. are sorted out before a project is slated to begin. This is designed so the client can receive as seamless (as possible), installation and have a good experience.
Warranty equals quality- few things in life are perfect. People are not perfect. But our team seeks to do the right thing. If an issue arises, we are there to help. That is why we provide our own written labour warranties as well as offer enhanced manufacturer warranties where available. Warranties from an organization that has a history of integrity and stability are valuable; because if a business does not reply, or is out of business, the one who ultimately suffers is the client.
