The average contractor is not too difficult to find when you are ready to place an order. But once the order is placed, things change. Phone calls are not answered – or they are answered days after you leave a message.
A day may go by when the contractor does not even show up. And when the job is finally completed, just try to arrange a call-back. If this sounds familiar, you know what it feels like to have “contractor fatigue” – and you will be pleasantly surprised by how different it is to have Avenue Road Roofing on the job.
Take a moment to see how we handle customer orders and you will instantly see why Avenue Road Roofing gives you more roof for your money:
- All jobs sold in the prior week are submitted to the Sales Administrator, who logs the information in our data base and checks the work orders to review the technical aspects of the project and insures the necessary paperwork (i.e. colours, financial data, etc) has been completed.
- The Production Coordinator acknowledges customer orders and provides an estimate of when the work will be done, taking into account factors ranging from weather conditions to customer urgency.
- Approximate timelines for delivery are communicated, based on current weather and commitment data. If a scheduling change is necessary for whatever reasons, the customer is called and advised of the new start date.
- A Warehouse Manager is responsible for purchasing, project material and coordinating shipping to site. We even have a “hot” truck to make rush deliveries to crews in the field.
- Any metal work is performed in our own metal shop, where we fabricate custom metal flashings for projects and stock materials designed to our own specifications. This is important because the quality of metal flashing detail is a key element of superior roofing systems.
- Project Coordinators manage the flow of the project until completion.
- Our in-house
Call Centre open Monday to Friday (8 am to 5 pm) takes your calls; and we check for messages left after the Call Centre is closed.
- Project Inspectors review the finished work to ensure there are no deficiencies.
