Chimney Repair Stonemason

Full-time position within Masonry division of Avenue Road Roofing. Candidate should have two or more years of experience in Masonry. Responsibilities include preparing and laying bricks, concrete blocks, concrete blocks or structural tiles. Typical projects will include rebuilding chimneys, building patios, garden walls and other decorative installations.

Requires knowledge in assembling, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment. Some work will be done at heights, using scaffolding or swing stages. This work is performed outdoors and is physically demanding. Preference will be given to candidates who have a driver's license and their own vehicle. Salary to be negotiated.

Flat Roofers

2-3 years experience with flat roofing (torch down and tar and gravel). Will be working at heights. Applicants with a valid driver's license and their own vehicle preferred. Safety training is an asset, but not a must as we can provide training. Salary to be negotiated.

Sheet Metal Worker

2-3 years experience working in sheet metal, must be able to use a break. Will be fabricating Sheet Metal Flashings, Drip Edge, Gravel Stop, etc. Will be standing for long periods. Salary to be negotiated.

Commercial Sales Professional

2-3 years experience doing roofing sales. Must have some knowledge of roofing, preferably actual roofing experience. Must not be afraid of heights. Must have driver's license and own vehicle. Will be interacting with customers, determining the cost of repairing their roof and then writing up an estimate and selling the work. Salary to be negotiated.

Eavestrough Installer (Subcontractor)

1-2 years experience installing and repairing eavestroughs. Will be working at heights. Must have own vehicle, driver's license and trough machine. Need to be able to read and interpret blueprints. Will be interacting with customers. Salary to be negotiated.

Shingle Subcontractor

2-3 years experience in shingle roofing. Will be working at heights. Must have own vehicle, driver's license and tools for the work. Salary to be negotiated.
